Portfolio / Wags and Tails
Wags and Tails.
Dog and cat grooming, plus a self service dog wash, in Salisbury. Her domain wasn't showing a website, so we built one with every price up front and booking a tap away.
Where it started
A domain, and nothing on it.
Louise runs Wags and Tails from a purpose-built salon just off the Southampton Road: dog and cat grooming, all one to one, and a self service dog wash. She already owned salisburywagsandtails.co.uk, but it wasn’t showing a website.
So anyone looking her up couldn’t see what a groom costs or how to book. The brief was to put her prices, her photos and her booking in one place, and make it quick to use on a phone.
Prices
Every price, up front.
Grooming is priced by size and coat, so the price list starts with a switch between fluffy and smooth coats, then small to giant, each with a bath and dry price and a full groom price. Cats, ultrasonic teeth cleaning and the extras follow.
Every page has a book button, linked to the booking system Louise already uses, so nothing about how she takes bookings had to change.
Most people find a groomer on their phone, so the price list was built for a small screen first.
Self service and the salon
The dog wash, in three steps.
The self service wash gets its own page: book a slot, use her station, shampoos and dryers, and leave the mess behind. It’s £17 for 30 minutes, and it says so.
The salon page introduces Louise, her soft spot for the big breeds and the free parking, with a wall of her customers’ dogs fresh out of the bath. Opening hours, directions and call or text sit at the foot of every page.
