Oak & Bramble.
A new dog training business in Leighton Buzzard, with a logo, brand guidelines and no website. We built one from her brand in two days, and stopped her emails going to junk.
Where it started
A brand, and no website.
Aimee was starting Oak & Bramble: one-to-one and group dog training, plus walks, around Leighton Buzzard. She had a logo and a set of brand guidelines. What she didn’t have was anywhere to send people.
So the brief was simple. Take the brand she already had and turn it into a site that explains what she offers, shows who she is, and gets a meet and greet booked.
The site
Concept to live in two days.
Everything grows out of her guidelines: the palette, the type, and the oak and bramble illustrations from the logo, used as sprigs through the page.
One page does the work. Training and walks laid out with their prices, how a first session runs, Aimee and Oakley, and a meet and greet enquiry with WhatsApp one tap away.
Built for the phone first, because that’s where most dog owners will find her. Every service and price is there on a small screen.
Then her emails stopped landing in junk.
A brand new domain sending email is exactly what spam filters distrust, and her replies to enquiries were going straight to people’s junk folders.
We sorted the DNS behind her Google Workspace email: SPF, DKIM and DMARC, the records a receiving mail server checks before it trusts a message. That kind of fix is part of our Digital Systems work.
